Former Attorney General Dhiyana Saeed have said that the Supreme Court cannot nullify the elections without giving the lawyers the chance to cross examine the witnesses.
She tweeted saying that, the election cannot be nullified just based on witness testimonies, without giving the lawyers the chance to cross examine them. In addition she said that the testimonies cannot be submitted in secrecy.
President Yameen has filed a case at the Supreme Court to nullify the presidential elections after conceding at first. The first hearing of the case was held yesterday and today a second hearing was held. Supreme Court has scheduled a third hearing for tomorrow and according to some sources the court will reach a verdict tomorrow night.
