Appeal hearing on President Maumoon’s jail sentence has been scheduled for tomorrow at the High Court.
President Maumoon was arrested last February and was jailed for 1 year 7 months and 6 days after he refused to give his phone to the police. He was charged with obstruction of justice.
It is expected that the judges will reach a verdict in tomorrow’s hearing as both sides have submitted their statements to the court.
