Deputy Leader of JP Dr.Hussein Rasheed have said that even if an election is held with a court order to vote for President Yameen, most of the people will not vote for him. Dr.Hussein said that no matter rich or influential someone is, votes can be gained with the love of people and it cannot be earned by “mixing aggregate, sand and cement inside a concrete machine”.
Speaking about the case filed by President Yameen at the Supreme Court to nullify the elections, Dr.Hussein said that the case is baseless and is based on assumptions made by President Yameen.
He said that the coalition estimated that President Yameen will get 30% and that he does not believe that he will get 41%. He said that since the results showed that, he has accepted it.
