Ahmed Thaufeeg, Topy said that the state assets should be protected.
Topy, who spent a long time in developing regional airports in the Maldives said that the metal rods which were used by HDC in PPM’s campaign were found on a boat ready to be shipped somewhere and that police assisted to prevent them from being shipped.
Thaufeeg said that when a regime change occurs, some people will try to sell off state assets and the police and the people should be vigilant about it.
