Records by the Tourism Ministry have showed that more than one million tourists visited Maldives by the end of September.
By the end of September 1,080,459 tourists visited Maldives and this is an 8.3 percent increase compared to the same period last year. In 2017, in the same period 998,009 tourists visited.
Most of the tourists who visited in September are from China. Meanwhile Germany and UK holds the second and third place respectively.
