Chairperson of MDP, Hassan Latheef has called to investigate President Yameen immediately. He said that the president is suspected of money laundering, theft, and corruption and hence investigations regarding these cases should begin as soon as possible.
Speaking to the press after the Supreme Court hearing today, Hassan Latheef said that since President Yameen is the president now, there is a chance that he might leave the country and those who give that chance to President Yameen should be held responsible.
Hassan Latheef said that the President should be prevented from leaving the country. Many people who gathered near the Supreme Court called to arrest President Yameen.
