No legal barrier for the president-elect to take oath of office on 11th November : Elections Commission
Elections Commission have decided that there is no legal barrier for the president-elect to take the oath of office on 11th November.

Vice President of EC Ahmed Akram said that they made the decision based on the letter received by the commission in 2013. He said that they conducted the elections in such a way that no problems will arise even if the oath of office was taken on 11th November or 17th November.

The current republic began on 11th November 1968. Since that day, the new president takes oath of office on 11th November. In 2013 it was delayed till 17th November because the election was nullified and there was no time to hold a new election before 11th November.
