MP Riyaz Rasheed the MP for Villifushi have told President Yameen that the government is corrupt. In a PPM council meeting which was held today, President Yameen complained that some of the parliament members are corrupt.
Responding to that Riyaz Rasheed said that there is corruption in the government as well.
President Yameen said that if the parliament members are allowed to do whatever they want it will lead to corruption and that, if he is forced to do that he would rather leave the party and stay home.
According to reports, President Yameen had a heated argument with Riyaz Rasheed.
Riyaz told the president that there is corruption in the government and that corruption cannot be eradicated.
It should be noted that even President Yameen has spoken about corruption in a similar manner in the past.
