Fifty-one parliament members including 14 parliament members from PPM have signed the censure motion against speaker of the parliament Abdullah Maseeh.
Some members who signed in the censure motion includes parliament members who are close to President Yameen and those members who protested against the Elections Commission after President Yameen lost the election.
The members who signed in the motion does not include the 8 members who were previously unseated by the Elections Commission.
The speaker should answer within 14 days, if a censure motion against the speaker is submitted. A vote will be taken after the speaker answers the parliament members.
