JP leader Qasim Ibrahim have request the Prosecutor General to review the cases of everyone who were jailed unjustly.
Speaking at today’s parliament session, Qasim said that President Nasheed should be ensured all his rights. He said that when President Nasheed was charged with terrorism, he was the first person to say that President Nasheed cannot be charged for terrorism. He said that at the time no one listened to what he said.
Qasim said that the cases of Sheikh Imran, Colonel Nazim, Justice Ali Hameed, and Justice Abdullah Saeed were conducted under questionable circumstances.
Qasim further said that the main campaign slogan of the opposition coalition was delivering justice and that he is happy now because he can see that the courts are towards the path of justice now.
