The parliament has decided to hold a session tomorrow night to impeach the speaker of the parliament Abdullah Maseeh.
The parliament committee on general affairs decided today that the censure motion submitted to impeach the speaker on July 2017 is valid and decided to proceed with the motion.
The session will be held tomorrow night at 20:00 hours.
The committee decided not to give the speaker any more time to reply to the motion. It is very likely that the speaker will get impeached tomorrow night.
