Speaker of the Maldivian Parliament Abdullah Maseeh has resigned today.
According to confirmed reports, the speaker has sent his letter of resignation to the parliament secretariat today. He has also informed about the decision to the members of PPM’s parliamentary group.
Meanwhile the parliament has scheduled to hold a session to impeach Maseeh.
