The Supreme Court of the Maldives has ordered to delay the execution of AP leader Sheikh Imran’s jail sentence.
The criminal court sentenced Sheikh Imran to 12 years in prison after he was convicted of terrorism. However after his case was filed for review, the Supreme Court ordered today to delay the execution of the sentence.
With this order, all the leaders of the opposition parties are now free.
