Criminal Court has ordered to free former Judicial Administrator Hassan Saeed.
Hassan Saeed was arrested during the state of emergency announced after the 1st February Supreme Court verdict.
Hassan Saeed was freed after his lawyers filed a habeas corpus case against the state since he has already served his jail sentence.
Hassan Saeed was sentenced to 4 months and 24 days in jail. However, since he spent more time in pre-trial detention than the jail sentence, he was freed by the Criminal Court today.
