Former Foreign Minister of the Maldives has called to investigate the sexual harassment claims made against a senior official at the foreign ministry.
According to the allegations made on social media, junior female staffs have been harassed multiple times by a senior official at the ministry.
Dunya Maumoon said that she is extremely concerned about the allegations and that such abuse of power should be investigated.
She further said that the perpetrators of such crimes should face justice and the victims should be protected.
