Amjad Hussein the secretary general of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) has paid a courtesy call on President Ibrahim Mohammed Solih.
During the visit, the president thanked Amjad Hussein for accepting his invitation and attending the inauguration ceremony yesterday. The SG also thanked the President for inviting him to the ceremony.
In the meeting, the SG of SAARC discussed about the challenges faced to hold the 19th SAARC summit and asked for his help. President assured the SG that Maldives will cooperate to find a way to hold the SAARC summit after talking with member countries.
