Supreme Court has scheduled hearings to review cases of former Defense Minister Colonel (Rtd.) Nazim and former MP Ahmed Nazim.
Previously the Supreme Court orders all state authorities to delay the execution of their jail sentences until their cases are reviewed by the Supreme Court. Hence both of them are free now.
In 2015 Colonel Nazim was sentenced to 11 years in jail for possession of a pistol. The Supreme Court hearing on the matter will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
Former MP Nazim was sentenced to 25 years in jail in 2015 after he was convicted of corruption. His hearing will begin at 12:45 on Tuesday.
