Minister of the Maldives Aishath Nahula have said that the people will be happy with the changes in domestic airfare.
Speaking to online news outlet Mihaaru, the minister said that even though there has been delays in reducing the fare, the discussions regarding the matter is now over and hence the new prices will be announced soon.
The minister said that there were delays because multiple state institutions were involved in the matter. Even though she did not reveal the new prices, she said that there will be a significant decrease in the prices.
