Housing and Urban Development Minister Athifa Shukoor have said that the government is reviewing the flats awarded by the previous administration. There has been allegations that they were awarded unfairly.
Athifa said that the matter is being investigated by a special committee formed by the president and the ministry has no role in the matter. "We only provide information to the committee if needed" said the minister.
Athifa said that the flats will be awarded after creating a mechanism for it and fairly. She said that if it is found that any flats were awarded unfairly the government will take the necessary action.
