Judicial Service Commission has sent a summons to prominent lawyer Husnu Suood to the commission. Suoodh is being summoned to the special committee formed by the JSC to investigate allegations made by Suoodh against Criminal Court justices.
In a press conference held two weeks ago, Suoodh accused the Criminal Court of having strong ties with gangs and accused the justices of using gangs as security.
Meanwhile Department of Judicial Administration stated that Suood’s remarks can be considered as contempt of court.
Suoodh also refused to share any details of the allegations he made with the Supreme Court. However he said that he is ready to assist the committee formed by the Judicial Service Commission.
