Husnu Suoodh the chair of the presidential committee formed to investigate unusual deaths and abductions have shared evidence of relations between gangs and criminal court judges.
Suoodh shared the evidence to a special committee formed by the Judicial Service Commission.
The JSC formed a special commission after Suoodh accused the Criminal Court justices of having strong relations with street gangs in Male’. He said that some of the justices use gang members as personal security as well.
After Suoodh’s allegations the Supreme Court requested him to share evidence regarding the matter, but he refused to do so. However Suoodh shared the evidence with the special committee formed by JSC.
