The prosecutor general’s office has withdrawn the terrorism charges against former president Maumoon, MP Faairs Maumoon and President Maumoon’s son in law Mohammed Nadheem.
A letter sent to them by the PG state that the PG has decided to withdraw the case. They were charged with terrorism for allegedly bribing members of parliament and justices of the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile the PG also withdrew the cases against MP Abdullah Riyaz as well. In addition the bribery case against Faaris Maumoon has been withdrawn a week back.
