Department of Judicial Administration has contracted Dhiraagu with connecting all courts of Maldives via one network.
Dhiraagu was officially awarded the contract in a press conference held today. Dr.Abdullah Nazeer the judicial administrator signed the agreement on behalf of DJA while CEO of Dhiraagu Ismail Rasheed signed the agreement on behalf of Dhiraagu. According to Dhiraagu the project will be completed within a month.
The purpose of the project is to enable courts to complete cases via audio and video conferencing services and to reduce paper works. This project will also allow people to give testimony to superior courts in Male’ via video conferences from an island court.
