Former Home Minister Umar Naseer has stated that he is read to take up arms against India to prevent Maldives from becoming a state of India.
Umar made this statement on his official Facebook page and shared a picture of him holding a gun during his time at MNDF.
Umar suspects that the Indians are trying to finance politicians and to make Maldives a state of India by 2030.
The former Home Minister is a harsh critic of India-Maldives relations. Speaking to an Indian media, Umar described the Indian helicopters operated in the Maldives as trojan horses.
