Tourism Minister Ali Waheed has decided to swim from B.Gemandhoo to Hulhudhoo to mark the end of Suzuki Marine Swim Maldive Baa Crawl 2019.
The Baa Crawl event began on 2nd of February and was officially launched by the Tourism Minister. The event is organized by the Tourism Ministry, Youth Ministry, Environment Ministry and Swim Maldives.
The participants of the event will swim to 23 islands of B.Atoll. Some foreign participants are taking part in the event as well.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, the minister noted that such events are very important to promote the tourism industry of the Maldives.
