Musthafa Mohammed the Chief of Staff during President Yameen’s administration has been arrested today.
He was arrested at Velana International Airport today. According to a media official of Maldives Police Service, he was allegedly arrested for taking bribes to lease an island for tourism, influencing witnesses and threatening witnesses.
He was arrested with a court order at 16:00 hours. Musthafa is also a council member of People’s Progressive Party (PPM).
