Foreign Minister of the Maldives Abdullah Shahid has departed to Sri Lanka on an official visit. The minister will meet senior officials of Saudi government including Saudi foreign minister Dr.Ibrahim Bin Abdul Azeezul Al Assaf.
Minister Shahid will hold talks on further strengthening the ties between the two countries and will request Saudi’s assistance on various areas.
The minister was accompanied by Policy Secretary at the President’s Office Aminath Shauna, Foreign Ministry’s additional secretary Ahmed Shiaan and other senior officials of the ministry.
