Male’ City Council has fined W construction. The company was fined after a young girl died after hitting from a cement sack which fell from a construction site of the company.
The young girl who is from Bangladesh died while she was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Deputy Mayor of Male’ City, Shamaau Shareef said that the city council has sent a notice to the company now.
The company was fined with 500,000 Rufiyaa which is the highest amount of fine which the council can impose on construction companies.
