Adhalath Party has decided to contest for additional seats in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
At first Adhalath Party decided to compete for 13 seats. Later after discussions with MDP, the party decided to contest for 8 seats. However, in a press conference held by the party today, the party announced that they intend to contest for Ghahdhoo constituency as well.
Ibrahim Zaidh of Adhalath party will be contesting for Ghahdhoo constituency.
At the moment Adhalath Party has just one seat in the parliament. However the party’s members have powerful positions in the government. Current Home Minister Imran Abdullah is the leader of the party.
