MP Ali Hussein the MP for Kendhoo constituency have stated that drawing on the ballot paper or marking it anyway will violate the secrecy of the ballot and it should be stopped.
While speaking at today’s session at the parliament, Ali said that people usually do that to let a third party know how they voted and hence this violates the validity of the vote.
Speaking today at the parliament session, MP Imthiyaz Fahmy criticized the Supreme Court for allowing those defeated in primaries to contest in elections saying that the Court’s verdict was targeted at MDP and they plan to fix the election in a certain way.
