Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid has stated that the government of Saudi Arabia will be providing financial assistance to the Maldives as budget support.
Speaking on a TV program by PSM, Abdullah Shahid said that the relation between Maldives and Saudi Arabia is very strong and soon Maldives will sign an agreement with the kingdom regarding budget support.
In addition he said that the government will soon sign an agreement with UAE to receive 50 million dollars from UAE as budget support.
