A magazine published in Arabic for the first time to promote Maldivian tourism

A magazine has been published in Arabic for the first time to promote the Maldivian tourism industry. 

Speaking at a press conference held at the Tourism Ministry today, Minister Ali Waheed said that this magazine will benefit the tourism industry a lot. He said that it will especially assist the efforts to promote Islamic tourism in the Maldives. 

The minister said that the tourists from Arabic countries should be increased and that more work needs to be done to market Maldives in neighboring India as well 

Speaking at the conference, Sheikh Moosa Nizar said that it is the aim of the government to promote halaal tourism in the Maldives and the halaal tourism industry is worth 300 billion dollars globally. He said that Arabic tourists are the richest tourists and that they spend the most. 

Sheikh Nizar said that the magazine will be distributed in three tourism fairs every year and that it will be made available online as well. He said that the magazine will be officially launched at a fair held in Dubai next week. He said that the magazine will be available at all the resorts and airports of the Maldives as well. 

The magazine was published by Comfort Travel and Tours, which is a company owned by Sheikh Moosa Nizar the MP for Keyodhoo constituency. The magazine has been distributed at a fair held at Saudi Arabia earlier this month.  According to Comfort Tours the magazine was well received by the public.
