Tourism Minister Ali Waheed has stated that Sri Lankan Airlines will continue to operate to Gan International Airport.
The minister made this statement in a press conference held at the ministry today. He said that the flights from Sri Lankan will not be halted and that South African Airlines will also start operating to Gan soon.
However, a month ago Sri Lankan airlines warned that they might have to halt operation due to failure of the Gan Airport management to meet some necessary requirements.
Sri Lankan Airlines began operations to Gan on 1st December 2017.
