Maldives National University has decided to grant 6-months paid maternity leave and one month paid paternity leave to all the staffs of the university.
The university made this decision after President Solih decided to grant 6-months maternity leave to all the civil servants.
Since then many government institutions and some private organizations have also decided to grant a 6 months paid leave.
