A dental unit has been opened at Fuvahmulaku city hospital.
The unit was officially inaugurated by Vice President Faisal Naseem. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Vice President said that the government gives a high priority to health care. He said that the government plans to provide quality healthcare to Maldivians all around the country without any discrimination.
In addition, he said that the government’s primary duty is to eliminate the challenges which prevents Maldivians from living a healthy life and to expand the health services of Maldives. He said that the government will continue to fulfil the pledges made and promised to further improve the health services of the country.
