Home Minister Imran Abdullah and Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameed has met with some island councils of Gaaf Dhaalu Atoll.
The minister and the CP are currently visiting the atoll. They met with the atoll council, Madaveli council, Thinadhoo council and Hoandehdhoo council at the secretariat of the Gaaf Dhaal Atoll Council.
The council members shared the challenges they face with the minister and the CP and discussed ways in which they can work with the police to resolve these problems. In addition, they discussed on ways to reduce crime.
In addition to the CP and the minister, Deputy Commissioner of Police Abdul Mannaan Yousuf, Division Policing Command’s head assistant commissioner of police Abdullah Fairooz, and some other senior executive members of the police took part in the meeting.
