MTCC’s CEO Hassan Shah has stated that the company will help to send back the body of the Ukrainian woman who died in the bus accident yesterday at Hulhumale’.
Hassan Shah said that they are coordinating with the woman’s family even now and said that the woman’s mother is coming to Maldives today.
The accident happened when the driver fell asleep and then woke up and accelerated unknowingly. The bus then ran over the woman who was jogging.
The driver has been arrested and the Criminal Court has remanded him to three days in custody.
