Commissioner of Police Mohammed Hameed stated Maldives Police Service will pay a special attention to those people who spread religious extremism and intolerance in the Maldives.
The Commissioner made this statement, after supporters of ISIS drew graffiti on a wall in Addu City. The CP stated that the police will work with relevant stakeholders to resolve such problems.
Sheikh Aneel has been warning the authorities that there are some people who support ISIS in Addu City.
