Supreme Court of the Maldives has issued an order stating that all decisions taken against the Supreme Court will be void.
The order stated that the decision made by the Judicial Service Commission not to accept the Supreme Court’s temporary order on removing the suspension of Jusctice Abdullah Didi is unconstitutional.
Meanwhile, the Judicial Committee of the parliament has decided that the JSC’s decision to suspend Justice Abdullah Didi is lawful and decided to forward the matter to the floor of the parliament for a vote.
