Ali Azim of Medhu Henveyru constituency has been elected as the leader of MDP’s parliamentary group.
Azim was the only member who ran for the position. He won the position with the unanimous vote of 57 members who took part in the vote.
Meanwhile MP Shaheem and MP Ilyas Labeeb were elected as deputy PG leaders. In addition MP Mohammed Rasheed was elected as the secretary general of the parliamentary group.
