Shahindha Ismail and Azra Naseem who were the main authors of the report published by Maldivian Democracy Network has refused to return to the Maldives for Police investigation.
Maldives Police Service has sent a summon to these two individuals, asking to be present at the police station in 14 days. However they have informed Maldives Police Service that they cannot return to Maldives because they fear for their safety.
At the moment Azra Naseem is living in Spain while Shahindha Ismail is living in Germany.
