Supreme Court Justice Abdullah Areef has retired from the bench.
Since he retired, the Judicial Service Commission has decided to handover the administration of the court to Dr.Azmiralda Zahir.
The Supreme Court Justice Areef retired at a time while the Judicial Service Commission was investigating him. Areef retired stating that he has health complocations.
Areef was appointed to the bench of the Supreme Court on 18th September 2008.
