A Maldivian has been tested positive for covid-19.
This was revealed by Health Minister Abdullah Ameen during a press conference held today. According to the minister the individual is a 38 year old man who arrived in the Maldives from UK on 22nd March.
He was held in quarantine at Holiday Island Resort and he was tested on 25th March after having mild symptoms of covid-19.
According to the government, the individual is in good health and in complete isolation.
