Economic Ministry has stated that some shops will be permitted to open from 9 am till 12 am.
The government decided to open shops during this time because the delivery system in Male’ did not work and many people are left without essential items as a result.
One person from each household will be allowed to go to a shop for one hour and have to go by foot.
The government has locked down Male’ after a community transmission of covid-19 began in Male’.
