State Trading Organisation (STO) has reported revenue of MVR 15.5 billion for 2025, marking a three percent increase compared to the previous year, when revenue stood at MVR 15.4 billion. Net profit for the year reached MVR 762 million.

According to the company’s financial statements for the fourth quarter of 2025, STO generated MVR 4.1 billion in revenue during the period—an eight percent increase over the previous quarter.

The company attributed the rise in profitability to improved performance across all its trading segments. Fuel sales increased by four percent, while other business areas recorded a combined growth of 19 percent. As a result, total profit for the quarter rose to MVR 671 million, reflecting an 11 percent increase compared to the previous quarter.

Overall, STO’s improved performance contributed to an annual revenue increase of MVR 98 million compared to 2024, bringing total income for 2025 to MVR 15.5 billion.
