Discussions held on improving security measures in Male’
A discussion has been held on ways to improve security measures in Male’ between the heads of the Central Operations Command and senior members of the Maldives National Defence Force, active in the Male’ area.

The meeting took place on the 12th of this month at the Iskandar Building and involved discussion of what could be done by both parties to make sure that Male’ was a safer and more secure place for the public, along with ways to establish better channels of communication between both organizations.

The Maldives Police Service was represented at the meeting by the head of the Central Operations Command, Chief Superintendent of Police, Ismail Naveen, the head of the Communications Center, head of the Male’ City Police, Fathuhulla Waheed, Chief Inspector of Police, Ismail Shameem and the head of Maafannu Police, Inspector of Police, Abdul Matheen, along with the head of the Galolhu Police Station, Sub Inspector of Police, Mohammed Sobah.

The MNDF was represented by the Deputy Commander of the Male’ area Lieutenant Colonel, Abdulla Ibrahim, Operation Officer, Captain Hussain Riyaz, the Commander of the Bandaara Koshi, Captain Ismail Athif, the Commander of the Kalhuthuh’kalaa Koshi, Captain Yusuf Rasheed and First Lieutenant Hussain Shareef.
