Ambassador of Denmark accredited to the Maldives Freddy Svane has yesterday paid a courtesy call on leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim.
The meeting was held at M. Kunooz. During the meeting Gasim Ibrahim discussed regarding the current political issues in the country.
In this regard, he informed the Danish Ambassador regarding the details of the arrest of former President Mohamed Nasheed and former Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim and others.
Deputy Leaders of the Jumhooree Party, Ameen Ibrahim, Dr. Hussein Rasheed Hassan, Ilham Ahmed an PG Group’s Deputy Leader Abdulla Riyaz participated in the meeting.
Foreign Ambassadors and diplomats have been meeting with Jumhooree Party leader regarding the current political situation of Maldives.
