Sobah Rasheed has said that Maldives is the only country where the plaintif also gives witness testimonies at the court.
Sobah said that the international world is also raising questions regarding the judiciary of the Maldives.
He said that the whole world is concerned when the plaintiff of the case against former President Mohamed Nasheed, the Prosecutor General and the judge assigned for the trial are two witnesses of the case.
Sobah said that this shows that the government is behind this case and the government should stop causing undue influence on the judiciary.
Sobah said that the government will do whatever they want with whoever they want. He said that this apparent from the recent actions of the government.
He said that the government even forced Major General Moosa Ali Jaleel to lead a motorcycle rally with some youth covering their faces which is against the law in demonstrations.
He said that this is a very shameful act for the whole nation and the Defence Force of Maldives.
