Friday Khutbah will be given in English for the first time in the Maldives next Friday.
According to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Yasir Qadhi will be leading the Friday prayer in Masjidul Sultan Mohamed Thakurufanu next Friday.
Dr. Aishath Muneeza, the Deputy Islamic Minister said that a special forum will be held by Dr. Yasir for the youth at the Islamic Center at 5:00 to 6:00 in the evening of Friday.
She said that the special lecture by the visiting western scholar, Dr. Yasir will be held at Alimas Carnival stage on Friday night.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed tweeted that Dr. Yasir is now already in Maldives for the lecture sessions.
