Legal Secretary of the Jumhooree Party, Imad Solih has said that Ikram Abdu-Sattar who is in a top post of Vmedia has a very close relationship with Gasim Ibrahim so much so that he thinks Gasim is under siege.
Imad made this remark rebutting the claims of Ikram on VTV against Gasim Ibrahim. Ikram said that he gave the statement on DhiTV because he did not get the opportunity to voice out the concerns to Gaasim.
“The reasons are clear why he should not have come on public media. If we go to Maafannuvilla, Villa House, Jumhooree Party and even here we cannot go to a place which Ikram is not present at,” he said.
Imad said that they wont be seen in Villa House or Maafannuvilla. “Gasim is so close to him that he thinks he is under siege,” he said.
He said that Ikram has that much access. He said that the people will never accept when a person of such status now claims that he did not get the opportunity to raise his concerns to Gasim Ibrahim.
Imad said that Ikram will know what he has done last night. He said that it is shocking that Ikram ignored the way President Yameen treated Gasim while he was eager to speak about how President Nasheed treated him.
“In a multi-party system, one will know the platform he will choose. Not all platform will be good or pleasing for all. Different people will like different platforms,” he said.
However, when one changes his platform he should not use the opportunity to wrong the ones who he supported previously by slandering them.
